Stacking Penalties: Amplifying Strategic Gameplay
The Stacking Penalty penalizes using multiple players from the same club to encourage diverse team formation. Kicking in when the stacking limit for a club is breached, it reduces the score for any players exceeding that limit.
CL1 Stacking Limits
To enhance game strategy and discourage potential abuse, we implemented a global stacking penalty rule:
If a user adds more than 3 athletes from the same team to their lineup, each additional athlete incurs a 50% score penalty.
Rationale:
Prevents Single-Team Dominance: Discourages a potentially exploitative strategy of stacking a single team, particularly advantageous when that team has an easy fixture.
Promotes Varied Team Building: Encourages diverse team compositions, potentially increasing the overall number of cards required for strategic options.
The Stacking Penalty is applied based on the pick order of athletes. Athletes selected later will face the penalty once the club's limit is exceeded. Be strategic in your selections to navigate this rule effectively.
